Oh the weather outside is frightful, but vacation days are so delightful. So before we pack up and go home, we wanted to...ah...say hello, say hello, say hello!
How We Do What We Do (Part 2) ::.
Visual Solutions to Business Problems
Someone recently asked why our company descriptor changed in 2007 from "progressive print & web design" to "progressive visual solutions." A very keen eye you have there, Mr. Question-Asker! We’re happy to answer:
It should go without saying that we set out to do great work for our Clients. But what are the criteria in which great work should be judged? In our very humble opinion, it is not solely an affirmative answer to, "Does it look great?" but a resounding and triumphant, "YES!" to the question, "Does it solve the problem it was intended to solve?"
Pondering this truth led us to the phrase visual solution because our purpose is not simply to design for looks; it is to design for effectiveness. We approach our Clients strategically, aiming to understand the issues facing their company, and then utilize great design to help solve those problems.
This is why many of you came to us in 2007 and did not only ask, "Can you design our new company brochure?" but, "How can we more effectively reach our target audience." Thank you. Being a trusted partner/advisor/friend of yours has been a true joy, and we look forward to more of the same in 2008. Happy holidays!
